As continuous improvement to our quality management system, ACi Automotive has achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 registration for the design and manufacture of windshield washer pumps, and window lift motors for the OE automotive industry. Additionally, ACi has maintained its ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 registrations for all our manufactured products.
Although TS16949 compliance is a necessity for our OE business, ACi operates with these base requirements in mind for all its market segments ensuring that processes are known, measured, and followed. ACi monitors the effectiveness of its quality system through extensive interactive plant metrics that give the ACi Team access to all the latest information from its processes.
TS16949 is a specification for the global automotive industry that combines several international automotive quality standards into one unified approach eliminating the need for multiple registrations to meet customer requirements. It was developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) along with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). TS16949 specifies the quality system requirements for the design, development, manufacture, and service of automotive products.
